Core Terms & License Agreement
1. Acceptance of Terms
By authorizing the Cartcord bot or signing into the seller dashboard, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must revoke bot permissions and stop using the service.
2. Service Scope
Cartcord provides automated storefront embeds, bot command responses, secure checkout redirect links, digital file hostings, and automatic role assignments inside Discord guilds. We are a software provider and do not participate in seller transactions.
3. Account Credentials
Access to the dashboard is authenticated via Discord OAuth2. You are solely responsible for managing server roles, assigning shop managers, protecting account details, and any action taken in your dashboard.
4. Payments & Payouts
All customer purchases go directly into your connected PayPal account. Cartcord takes 0% commission. You are responsible for any PayPal transaction fees, client credentials setup, chargebacks, and refund payouts.
5. Security Obligations
You agree to safeguard your PayPal Client Secret, limit admin permissions to trusted staff, set expiring link TTLs, and audit role delivery logs. Cartcord is not responsible for losses due to compromised API keys.
6. Prohibited Products
You may not list, sell, or advertise illegal content, malware, stolen files, carding or fraud services, spam engines, or goods that violate Discord's Developer Terms or PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your uploaded files, graphics, and descriptions. You grant Cartcord a limited license to store, transmit, and deliver files or assign roles to your buyers upon successful payment.
8. Enforcement & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend dashboard access, block bot commands, or terminate accounts for fraud reports, system abuse, repeated failed delivery audits, or terms violations.
Seller Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate pricing, descriptions, and stocks.
- Ensure correct Discord role hierarchy for bot assignment.
- Resolve customer support and refund requests in a timely manner.
- Comply with local digital commerce and tax regulations.
Buyer Expectations
- Complete checkout with the correct target Discord account.
- Do not share private download links or license key allocations.
- Resolve delivery blocks with the seller before filing disputes.
- Follow rules and guidelines set by the host Discord community.
Important Limitation of Liability
Cartcord is provided 'as is'. We are a technology service provider facilitating automated digital deliveries and roles. We do not inspect products, guarantee compliance, handle merchant funds, or hold liability for disputes between server members and owners.
