Dispute Review & Refund Eligibility
Cartcord functions as a software platform for sellers. Because transaction payouts flow directly from the buyer to the seller's connected PayPal account (with 0% commission taken by us), refund reviewal and approvals are handled directly by each individual store owner. PayPal and the original payment method determine refund timing. These examples do not override the seller's published terms or applicable buyer rights.
1. How Refund Processing Works
Contact Seller
Reach out to the server owner or open a ticket in their support channel with your order details.
Share Order Details
Provide your product name, purchase date, Discord User ID, and a description of the delivery issue.
Seller Audit
The server owner reviews checkout logs, bot delivery statuses, and role privileges.
PayPal Settlement
Approved refunds are credited directly back to your PayPal balance or payment card.
Usually Eligible
- Files could not be accessed, downloaded, or read due to host failures.
- The wrong Discord server role or product tier was assigned.
- System technical errors prevented automatic delivery within 24 hours.
- The product description materially differs from what was delivered.
Usually Ineligible
- Buyer changed their mind after successfully downloading or viewing content.
- Access privileges were revoked due to violating server guidelines.
- The manual support/custom setup service has already been completed.
- The request falls outside the seller's published policy; applicable buyer rights still apply.
A Note on Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Please contact the seller before filing a PayPal dispute or credit card chargeback. A dispute is handled through the payment provider's process; Cartcord does not promise automatic account freezing or a particular outcome. Keep your order and payment references for the seller and provider.
Refund status and access
A verified completed partial refund preserves eligible delivery. Completed refunds accumulate; a full refund closes new delivery access. Pending refunds do not remove access. Role cleanup depends on saved Cartcord grants and the bot worker rollout; existing manual or overlapping valid grants are protected.
Existing signed links can remain valid for up to 60 seconds. Downloaded copies and external URLs cannot be universally recalled. Cartcord does not initiate a PayPal refund by changing an order status.
