Choose a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF image that you own or are allowed to use. The tool processes it in your browser and prepares a JPEG preview within a 720 by 384 pixel frame. Keep the original file: compression creates another image and cannot recover detail that was already missing from a small or blurry source.

Inspect the preview before downloading. Check text, logos, edges and any details a buyer needs to understand the product. JPEG output does not preserve transparency or animation. A GIF becomes a still image, and fine text can lose clarity when quality is reduced. Use a suitable background and keep essential content away from the edges so it remains readable in a storefront card.

The compressor aims for a file size of 100 KB or less, but some images cannot meet that target at an acceptable size and quality. If the result still exceeds the limit, simplify the source or choose a smaller image and try again. The download is a local file; the tool does not upload it, replace a product image or change your store.

Upload the reviewed result through the seller dashboard, then check the actual public product page on desktop and mobile. Add an accurate image description for accessibility and avoid putting essential terms only inside an image. A compressed picture can reduce transfer size, but page performance also depends on layout, scripts, hosting and the buyer's connection.
