    Refunds, Partial Refunds and Access

Issue money refunds in PayPal; Cartcord records verified provider results and updates eligible buyer access.

    IntermediateSetup guide

Review the payment and seller policy

Look up the order and capture before deciding on a refund. Check the product's terms and any applicable buyer rights. A delivery failure may be resolved by retry, but this does not replace a buyer's refund request.

    Issue the refund through PayPal

The merchant initiates the refund in PayPal. Cartcord does not create a PayPal refund from a seller order status. Timing depends on PayPal and the original payment method; do not promise a fixed settlement date.

    Understand verification and partial amounts

A verified completed partial refund preserves access. Distinct completed refunds accumulate; reaching the captured amount closes access. Pending refunds do not remove delivery. Admin support can reconcile an order ID plus PayPal refund ID, which the backend verifies.

    Check access and role cleanup

Fully refunded orders hide new delivery access and queue eligible Cartcord-owned role revocation. The scheduled access service processes role cleanup; service or Discord unavailability can delay it. Pre-existing, unknown or overlapping valid role grants are protected. Already downloaded files, external URLs and previously issued links cannot be universally recalled.
