Connect Live PayPal to Each Store
The store owner connects and verifies a Live PayPal app, then explicitly attaches it to each owned store.

Prepare the merchant app
Use the PayPal developer account that should receive the store's payments. Copy matching Live Client ID and Secret. The production Cartcord connector does not offer a Sandbox toggle.
Verify and attach
In the selected store → Settings → PayPal, save and verify the credentials, then attach the verified account to that store. Repeat attachment for another owned store; it does not move the first store's attachment. Credential changes can require attachment again.
Confirm checkout readiness
Review the payment diagnostics and setup checklist. Direct payments go to the merchant's PayPal account; Cartcord takes 0% sales commission. PayPal processing fees, holds and payment-method availability still apply.
Keep refund events connected
Verified refund synchronization needs the store's PayPal webhook registration and matching webhook ID. If a refund is absent, contact support with the order ID and PayPal refund ID. Never share the app secret in a ticket.
