Timed Role Passes and Availability
Offer a one-time pass with a recorded duration only when the expiry service is available. Buyer recurring billing is a separate, unreleased workflow.
On this page
New timed setup and timed checkout are blocked while the expiry service is unavailable. Untimed role products remain separate. A timed pass is paid once and expires after the recorded number of days from confirmed payment. It does not automatically charge, extend or renew a membership.
Check availability before promising a pass
Open a saved role product’s Delivery → Timed role access. The service must confirm an active expiry/reminder worker before a duration can be configured. If unavailable, leave duration unset and describe the product as untimed one-time access; do not promise timed expiry.
Configure future purchase terms
Hide the product and finish active checkouts before changing duration. Choose 1–3,650 days. Buyers see the duration before checkout, and each paid order keeps its own terms. Editing a product does not shorten a previous purchase.
Understand reminders and overlaps
Passes longer than three days schedule a reminder three days before expiry. DMs can fail, so reminders are not guaranteed. Expiry preserves pre-existing access and another valid grant. Each purchase has its own term; re-sending does not renew an expired pass.
Inspect expiry results
Keep the bot installed with permission to manage the role. Check saved grants and job results when access removal needs follow-up. Worker or Discord unavailability can delay removal; durable retries resume when service returns. Automatic provider renewals, payment retries and a buyer cancellation portal are not part of this feature.
